Fluorite (unusually spherical) on MM Quartz Natural Mineral Specimen # B 4894
Features:
This specimen features unusually botryoidal "ball" of Fluorite perched atop notably rich purple coloerless on mm quartz and host rock matrix. The Fluorite ranges in color from a golden hue towards the center, and grades into a creamy-white tone on the exterior. The piece is virtually unduamaged and actually looks a bit better in person than the photos might indicate. You rarely seen spherical Fluorite like this from any locality, but to find one on such strong mm quartz is even rarer in my experience.
