A plate of colorless to light green cubical Apophyllite crystals hosting a numerous salmon-colored Stilbite crystals on a dark matrix. But this one is different – it helps that the plate is very large, that the Apophyllite crystals are transparent and lustrous and that the focal Stilbite crystal is large and perfectly centered – but what really stands out is the luster.

There really isn’t a recognized luster classification that clearly describes these Stilbites’ luster – they are all dusted with a colorless microcrystalline Apophyllite that reflects light in a most unusual and aesthetic way, more like a micro-sparkle. Anyways, the piece is beautiful and has amazing contrast, crystal formation, luster and balance! In excellent condition.
