An Extraordinary specimen of transparent yellow Calcite rhombohedral crystal, eventually became overgrown on the sides and back first with clusters of miniature Quartz crystals, and another Calcite compliment to each other.Finally with doubly-terminated transparent colorless Apophyllite crystals. The end result is a gemmy, highly vitreous and extremely aesthetic specimen with outstanding contrast and balance. This is a beautiful piece in excellent condition.
