A striking, beautiful, large "ball" of glassy scolecite prisms to about from Aurangabad. Overall, the piece is essentially pristine, except for the trivial periphery wear.This is a great display specimen from the same locality featuring many fine quality spheres of Scoleicte measuring up to 2.8 cm sitting on brown contrasting basalt. Aciculr "sprays" of what is most likely either Mesolite or Scolecite can be seen flaring out of the matrix. A beautiful display piece of one of the rarer Zeolite species out there.
