A dazzling and wonderful gemmy Calcite cubic precious crystal from the Nashik locale in Maharashtra, India. The precious stone is a twisted rhombohedron, tending to practically cubic and measures cubic gems, one arising out of the top face and one further down. The gems are straightforward, absolutely gemmy and with an unpretentious, yet striking, pale lemon tone. All gem faces are tenderly bended with a waxy brilliance. The Calcite sits on a slim undulating bed of somewhat blue drusy Chalcedony underlain by granular dark basalt. Intermittent pale salmon-pink neckties of Stilbite.
