Purple Amethyst Pointed Crystals Geode Formation # B 2198
An Amethyst Quartz Geode from India! The Amethyst is lustrous and a unique purple color on a colorless Chalcedony. There is banding clearly present on the opening edge, and there is a unique thin reddish-brown streak around the inside of the geode due to a self-healed fracture on the outside of the geode. A very aesthetic piece from a unique locality.
